Hunting is my passion and I want to make sure that all who book with Big Bone Outfitters can join me in the anticipation and excitement of a hunt. Whether using a bow or rifle, let’s make sure you have the equipment you need. Before coming out west, practice shooting enough so that you have confidence in your abilities to get the trophy you are aiming at!
Colorado Hunts:
Hunts take place on private land nestled in a beautiful valley in Southern Colorado surrounded by the Spanish Peaks, the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Greenhorn Mountain. Colorado harbors the largest elk herd of any state which is about 200,000 elk! Animals we hunt in CO include Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope, Turkey, Mountain Lion and Bear. Each hunt includes guiding, meals, transportation in the field, lodging and trophy field care. Hunters fly into either the Denver International Airport or the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport and may wish to arrange a rental car. Transportation can be arranged through Big Bone Outfitters for an additional fee.

Now that your hunting trip is booked, it’s time to pack! A hunter needs to be prepared for all kinds of conditions from rugged terrain to unpredictable weather.
